(Akshara International School)

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern admission, academics, services, and all school-related matters at Akshara International School (“School”). By enrolling a student, accessing our website, or availing our services, parents/guardians agree to abide by the following Terms.

1. Admissions

• Admission is granted strictly on the basis of eligibility criteria, availability of seats, and compliance with school policies.

• Submission of false or misleading documents will lead to cancellation of admission without refund.

2. Fee Structure & Payment

• Fees shall be payable as per the prescribed schedule communicated by the school.

• Delay in fee payment may attract late charges or denial of access to classes, exams, or facilities.

• All fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable, except under extraordinary circumstances approved by the management.

3. Attendance & Discipline

• Students must maintain the minimum attendance as prescribed by the school/board.

• Punctuality, discipline, and respectful behavior are mandatory. Misconduct may lead to suspension or expulsion.

4. School Property & Infrastructure

• Students must treat school property, books, buses, labs, and other facilities with care.

• Any damage caused will be recovered from the concerned student/parent.

5. Academic Integrity

• Students must refrain from malpractice in examinations, plagiarism, or any unethical academic behavior.

• Violations will invite disciplinary action.

6. Curriculum & Activities

• The school reserves the right to design, revise, or update its curriculum, academic calendar, and extracurricular activities as deemed necessary.

7. Digital Platforms & Communication

• The school may use websites, apps, emails, or WhatsApp groups for academic and administrative communication.

• Parents are expected to regularly check these platforms for updates.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

• Personal data of students and parents will be kept confidential and used only for legitimate educational and administrative purposes.

• The school will take reasonable measures to protect such information.

9. Transport Services

• Use of school transport is optional and subject to availability.

• Parents must ensure timely pick-up/drop-off at designated stops.

• The school is not liable for delays or disruptions caused by external factors such as traffic or strikes.

10. Health & Safety

• Parents must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements of the student at the time of admission.

• The school will provide first aid in emergencies but shall not be held responsible for consequences beyond reasonable control.

11. Parental Responsibility

• Parents/guardians are expected to cooperate with the school in monitoring student progress, behavior, and participation.

• Abusive or disrespectful conduct towards staff will not be tolerated.

12. Co-Curricular & Extra-Curricular Activities

• Participation in sports, cultural, and educational activities may be compulsory as part of holistic learning.

• Parents shall encourage and support student involvement in such programs.

13. Liability & Force Majeure

• The school shall not be liable for events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, accidents, pandemics, or government restrictions.

14. Amendments to Terms

• The school reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated Terms will be communicated to parents through official channels.

15. Jurisdiction

• All disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising under these Terms & Conditions shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
